Alfred Sisley's Riverscapes

We have previously looked at the life and style of Alfred Sisley, one of the founding members of the French Impressionists click here.

He was certainly well known and prolific in his paintings of the outdoors, be it rivers, the wild coastal sea, quaint towns covered in snow, or peaceful village life.

Today we look at just one aspect of his landscapes - riverscapes - in an Arts&Emotions video. As always, we hope you enjoy these typical 19th century scenes set to expressive music......

And in case you missed it, Anne and Andrew have also recounted some aspects of mystery and intrigue surrounding Sisley's life and works. You can catch up on Part One here and Part Two here.
