In the Name of the Law

This painting was a gift for a friend who is a lawyer. The building in the background is the Supreme Court in Melbourne. This was the first of my “barrister” paintings, the others being: Before the Court, Acquitted, Not Guilty, Balance of Justice.

I liked the subject matter so much I've produced several more paintings featuring lawyers. They make such wonderful subjects.
