A pretty painting done as a commission work where the description was to paint a scene that would convey feelings of peace.

Sunsets are fun to create. The scene could be almost anywhere. The message could be almost anywhere: climb a hill or a mountain (metaphorically is okay) stop, take off your shoes and sit down where you can take in the best view. My version of: "Don't forget to stop and smell the roses".

This was one of those quick little paintings one does on a wet Sunday afternoon. I aimed to capture the morning in Central Victoria. It has nice reflections in the puddles from the rain and raindrops hanging on the barbed wire which I had learned to paint when creating "The Fence Post".
