Tyquin House, Taradale, Victoria

A gift for a family friend whose ancestors, like mine, settled in Central Victoria. Working on this image gave me a chance to paint a miner's cottage, a favourite motif which appears in many of my paintings.

Love the remnant of ancestral England as found in the hollyhocks.
