The fascinating work of Georges Seurat

I have to let you into a little secret and tell you that Georges Seurat is one of my favourite Impressionist/Post Impressionist painters (along with Pissarro, who was much older and mentored him as a young artist just starting out).

I find Seurat's pointilist (dot) style, which he pioneered along with his friend Paul Signac, absolutely fascinating. I can look at one of his paintings for hours!

It is such a shame that he died so young, as we have recounted in a previous post about his life and work, click here.

We hope you enjoy this snapshot the mesmerising work he managed to complete in his short lifetime, in this Arts&Emotions video.
