Down Town is the painting I produced in my Painting Along with Anne Newman videos posted on Facebook at Anne-Newman-Artist. Its a fun painting featuring a village and the life that goes on with the residents.

A fun painting of Malvern done in the genre style which I enjoy so much. A commission work for a friend whose son was moving house across the street. Unfortunately I painted them moving into the wrong house!!

This painting is a reminder of my home territory of Central Victoria and I used the stimulus of the miners' cottages around Castlemaine and Chewton for the idea. Available as a print.

One of my earliest and best genre paintings which sadly was done before I had learnt how to take photos of my paintings. The building in the background I found on my many walks around country towns, this time Castlemaine in Central Victoria.
