The pussy cats of the world have written to me and demanded as much post space as I gave to the puppy dogs last week. So this is their post, their day.

Pussy Cats and Their Famous Artistic Owners
Many famous artists have had their own special feline companion and many have made images of these furry friends. Showcasing some cats and their famous artistic owners plus some feline paintings. Image: Paul Klee with Bimbo and Lily (artanddesigninspiration.com)
The Cats of Louis Wain
Louis Wain (1860-1939) was an English artist best known for his drawings, which consistently featured anthropomorphised large-eyed cats and kittens. Image: Louis Wain, A Summer Tea Party. Courtesy of Chris Beetles Ltd. /artsy.net
More Feline Images to Grace Our Lives
Treating you to more images of cats from Ancient Egypt where they were held in high esteem to modern times where these feline beauties make sure we look after their every need. Image: “Kitten with Ball of Wool” by Henriette Ronner-Knip.

I do like cats - but don't tell them - not as much as I love dogs. Nevertheless they make for wonderful subjects in paintings. So like most artists - I've had a go occasionally to capture a cat!
